Since 1954 Aley UM Church has supported the Boy Scouts of America programs with two active units.

 

Boy Scout troop 71 is for boys from 11 to 18 years old.  The troop meets on Tuesdays at 7:00 pm in the activities building. The troop activities include camping, caving, hiking, long term summer camp, and service projects.  The troop scoutmaster is Evan James.

 

Venture Crew 71 is for boys and girls 14 to 21 years old.  The crew meets monthly on Sunday at the activities building.  The crew has one activity per month.  The crew advisor is William Gordon.
