Music Ministry
Chancel Choir
The Chancel Choir at Aley is an adult vocal choir that sings during the 9am Sunday morning worship service. In addition to providing special music, the choir also visits local assisted care ficilities to bring joy and music to the residents. The choir rehearses September through May at 6:00 on Wednesday evenings in room 201. Anyone with a talent for singing and a heart for the Lord is welcome to join at any time during the year. For more information, contact director Pam Rauch.

Contempory Music
Defying Gravity is the resident praise band of Aley. The group consists of singers and musicians playing drums, guitars and keys. Defying Gravity can be heard on Sunday mornings at the 11am Contemporary Worship Service in Aley’s sanctuary. If you are interested in performing with Defying Gravity or have any questions, please contact Ryan Holeton.
Celebration Ringers
The Celebration Ringers are a group of musicians who form a four-octave English handbell choir. They assist in worship at the 9am worship service on a monthly basis. The ringers participate in the Greene County Spring every year. Rehearsals are on Thursday evenings from September through April. For more information, please contact director Cheri Warner.
Special Music
Do you have a special music talent? We are always looking for special music on Sunday mornings and special events. Contact the church office to see how you might plug in.
Childrens Bell Choir
Bells of Praise is the youth bell choir, age 10 and up. We learn the basic techniques of English handbells, chimes, and for extra fun we sometimes use Boomwhackers! We learn how music is a gift from God and is joyous to His ears and we assist in traditional service worship 4-6 times a year. Rehearsals are Sunday evenings from 5-6 pm. More ringers are always needed, so if you have an interest talk to any bell member or director Cheri Warner.
Organ Music
Aley is home to its own electronic Rodgers organ that is always looking to be played. If interested in playing, please contact the church office.
